Working Principle
DM plants use ion exchange technology to remove dissolved salts and minerals from water.
Process Includes:
- Cation Exchange Unit – Removes calcium, magnesium, sodium
- Degasser Tower (Optional) – Removes dissolved CO₂
- Anion Exchange Unit – Removes chlorides, sulphates, nitrates
- Mixed Bed Unit (Optional) – Final polishing for ultra-low conductivity
