Working Principle

DM plants use ion exchange technology to remove dissolved salts and minerals from water.

Process Includes:

  • Cation Exchange Unit – Removes calcium, magnesium, sodium
  • Degasser Tower (Optional) – Removes dissolved CO₂
  • Anion Exchange Unit – Removes chlorides, sulphates, nitrates
  • Mixed Bed Unit (Optional) – Final polishing for ultra-low conductivity

This process ensures highly purified water suitable for industrial use.
