Hindustan Zinc Ltd approached Soma Utilities. for the design and
execution of a 100 KLD Sewage Treatment Plant at their RD Mines facility
in Dariba, Rajasthan. The objective was to install a robust and reliable STP
capable of meeting CPCB discharge norms under varying site and load
conditions.
1 Sewage generation from 4–5 different locations across the mine area

After a detailed site visit and technical evaluation, we proposed a civilconstructed MBBR-based STP with a combination of gravity flow and
pumping system.

3 Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of STP
4 Performance stabilization and handover
5 Civil construction and sewage pipeline work were executed by the
client.
The project was executed strictly as per the approved drawings and was completed within the committed timeline. Effective coordination with the client ensured smooth installation and successful commissioning of the system.
